1. In The Shower
With the help of your middle 3 fingers, Check the entire breast and armpit area pressing it with light or medium pressure. Check out both breasts each month to feel any thickening, hard knot, lump, or any other changes you haven’t seen before.

2. In front of a Mirror
First visually inspect your breasts with your arms at your sides and then raise your arms high overhead.
Look for any changes like swelling, dimpling of the skin, or any change in nipples. Now rest your palms on your hips and press firmly to flex your chest muscles. few women’s breasts match exactly, but some women’s breasts do not so look for any changes, dimpling particularly on one side of the breast.

3. By Lying Down
When you lay down, the breast tissue spreads out evenly. Now place a pillow under your right shoulder and your right arm behind your head, now by using your left hand, move your fingers around your right breast gently by covering the entire breast area and armpit.
Use firm pressure. Start squeezing the nipple; check for discharge or lumps. Repeat these steps for your left breast.
