Is Sex/Life Netflix Series Based on a True Story?
Sex/life may be the most ravishing sexual fantasy on Netflix, but for the author, B.B Easton it’s understandably Fictitious.
Well, for those who may not know that the new drama is based on her 2016 book similar to the series, the story was initially a journal of sorts by B.B., who documented her past fling with ex-lovers, which includes a tattoo artist turned U.S.

Sex/Life is the story of a love triangle between a woman, her husband, and her past that takes an annoying new look at female identity and desire. Exhausted from taking care of her two kids and feeling romantic about her past, Billi starts writing journaling, and fantasizing about her passionate exploits with her sexy ex-boyfriend Brad (Adam Demos), the biggest heartbreak she never got over. But the more Billi remembers the more she starts wondering how she got here and then one day her husband (Mike Vogel) finds her journal.

And just like Billie and Cooper’s sexual revolution throughout the full series, according to the book description, it is said that the discovery of the journal by B.B’s husband made him a fucking game.
Although there are similarities between the book and the Tv serial, B.B never left her husband for any other man. The same is written in the book as well. On this, she said: ‘Is there something? She’s exploring the same question ….. it ramps up the drama.

It seems B.B. and her husband have enjoyed tuning into the series. She added: ‘It’s been an absolute dream come true that I didn’t even know I had.
Billie also remembers their wild sexual experience with her ex-boyfriend while writing in her journal, from sex in the swimming pool to getting intimate with a rocker at a concert.

Although Sex/Life is based on a true story, there is one huge significant difference between Easton and Billie.

In Sex/Life, Billie remembers her romance with one of her ex-boyfriends, Brad, but Easton in the book never reached out to any of former flames.
